The toughest part of replacing the gas springs of your E30 sport seats is figuring out how to compress the 400N gas springs during install as its a much greater force than human hands can generate; this is the ultimate solution for this job!
The gas springs fit perfectly in the device and by tightening the lugs, you safely compress the spring until it aligns the holes on the seat. Slide it over the brackets and slowly release the nuts and job done!
